I've been wanting to post this pic for a while. In nearby Schwetzingen, there's a parking lot with all kinds of cute "reserved" spots. They're all painted similar to a handicap spot, but rather have UFOs, birds, and I think a cow on some of them. I don't know why they painted them, other than to be funny. All I know is someone has a sense of humor in that quaint town!

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." It looks like the branches of this beautiful tree are reaching into the heavens and praising God. I see trees that often look this way, and am reminded of Luke 19:40 where Jesus says, " And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." I think if the stones could cry out, then trees could praise their Creator. Praise God today!

Saturday Brian and I decided to go for a drive. Before we left, I wanted to stop and take some pictures from our neighborhood. The flowers are in beautiful bloom right now and I didn't want to miss the photo op. The lilacs are from our back yard and the pink flowering trees are lined up along my commute to the streetcar. Enjoy!

I posted this picture on Facebook along with the comment that "they look fun, don't they" or something to that effect. This photo was taken in Milan and I really, really wanted to go climb, or attempt to climb these stairs. Unfortunately, it was blocked off or in a private area, one of the two. Anyway, I was wondering what I was going to post today and decided these stairs definitely make the cut!
